1st May 2003 Windsurfing: Golf Course Car Park, Borth Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 14-17 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 13C Sea Temperature: 10C Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: The conditions looked really good, so I rearranged a few jobs and got to the beach around 3pm. I rigged my 5.7m and big board and immediately got planing. This only lasted for about half an hour though and the wind dropped so it was back to the beach to get a bigger sail and a bigger fin. That felt better, but once again after about half an hour the wind dropped again. Oh well, at least I'd had a few good runs, a few jumps and a couple of good gybes and the sun was shining. |
